Training a neural network to predict the properties of organic molecules based on their chemical structure. These models allow a high-throughput screening to help us identify the most toxic components of air pollution.

Using quantum mechnical calculations, the interaction of carbon monoxide molecules with graphene can be accurately modelled. Here you can see the results of a molecular dynamics simulation. These techniques can be used to quickly screen thousands of materials in order to identify useful properties.
